A February Update from Sacred & Secular
Walking through Lent together

I love writing for you every day.
It has become one of the most nourishing rhythms in my spiritual life, and something I genuinely look forward to sitting down to do. What began as a simple commitment has grown into a daily meeting place we now share.
February has been a big month for Sacred & Secular.
We are growing our subscriber base quickly, and I have especially loved the comments and emails from those of you who have found the daily reflections helpful, grounding, or quietly thought-provoking. It means more than you might realise to know these words are landing in real lives and moments.
February has also marked the beginning of Lent, and so the reflections have naturally taken on a more Lenten tone and focus.
I am always mindful of how busy life is for so many of you. Work, family, responsibilities, the constant background noise of modern life. Which is why the reflections are designed to offer a small pocket of pause in the middle of it all. A few minutes of “me time” in the day. Something you can read with a cuppa in hand and take a short but meaningful breath.
My genuine hope is that these reflections help you connect with God in fresh ways as we journey through Lent together, just as they have done for me. Not in a demanding way, but in a way that feels accessible, spacious, calm and companionable.
Thank you for being a subscriber.
And a special thank you to those of you who are paid subscribers and have chosen to support this project in its early stages. Your support doesn’t just help financially. It encourages me to keep writing and building something that I hope has real spiritual value.
I will continue to be here, publishing every single day.
Thank you for walking this road with me.
Paul
